Tuesday - Rise of Ancient Greek Civilization Handout - due, watch video on Security Systems of Sparta and Athens (discovery education.com), work on Venn Diagram - Compare Sparta and Athens, Homework - Read about Sparta and Athens - do questions 1-3 (due Wednesday)
Wednesday - Powerpoint - Where is Greece? (take notes), work on Geography Skill Worksheet 1-5 to reinforce geographical understanding
Thursday - Finish geography worksheet 1-5, work on Ancient Greece Word Search for fun, Homework - Ancient Greece Writing Exercise - answer three questions (It should be three short paragraphs when it is turned in for a grade.)
Friday - read newspaper for 7 - 10 minutes, journal entry - write a paragraph about something you learned about while reading the paper , Play Jeopardy as a class (Ancient Greece)
