Wednesday - Focus - study for 5 to 8 minutes for Ancient Egypt Final Test,  Take Ancient Egypt Final Test (25 questions)
Thursday - Read Article Ancient Greece Do 1-5 questions and 2 extended responses (check together in class) View Ancient Greece Powerpoint (students should take notes)
Friday - Journal - What does Christmas mean to you? (three to five sentences), work on Ancient Greece Crossword (watch Home Alone Movie - enjoy candy cane from Mr. Hudson)

Thursday - Egyptian Religion (handout) read and discuss, work on Pharaoh Trading Card Homework - finish trading card
Friday - Present Pharaoh Trading Card, Read about Arts and Recreation in Egypt (handout), journal entry - 3-5 sentences What would have life been like living under the rule of a Pharaoh?

Thursday - Study for Ancient Egypt Quiz ( 5 - 7 minutes) Take Ancient Egypt Quiz (12 questions)
Friday - Record details of Egyptian Mummification in notebook, watch video - What The Ancients Knew: The Egyptians (discovery education.com), 12 sentence fact sheet due at the end of the video (homework grade)

Tuesday - Archeological Dig Lesson - Students will examine artifacts, describe them, and hypothesize about them (two paragraphs and a sketch) This will be a test grade.
Wednesday - finish Archeological Dig Lesson, Journal - What will modern man have to confront in the future to survive? (4 to 6 sentences)
Thursday - Study for first 5-7 minutes for Ancient Man Test, Take Ancient Man Test (25 minutes)
Homework - Summary and Article due for Friday (Topic - Event outside of United States is worth extra credit)
Friday - Summary and Article, Review Results of Ancient Man Test, Jeopardy - Ancient Man - last 1/2 of period

Monday - Journal - Read Article on Syria - Write down three facts you learned from the article. I would also like you to list three countries that border this country. Work on Eastern Hemisphere Political Map.   There will be a test on these political regions on Wednesday.
Tuesday - Read Newspaper for 5 to 7 minutes.  Write in your journal three things you learned from reading the newspaper. take notes on  Early Man Powerpoint
Wednesday - five minutes - Students should study for their Eastern Hemisphere Political Region Map Test.  Finish - Early Man Powerpoint,  Homework - Ancient Man- Vocabulary (We will work on this together in class on Monday, November 19 for students who do not get it finished)
